De Jong’s Liften and its dealer network supply and rent a wide range of hoists for construction, industry, and logistics.
The range includes goods hoists, passenger and goods hoists, industrial hoists, and warehouse hoists. In addition to supply, De Jong’s Liften offers a complete service package, from advice and engineering to maintenance, inspections, and training.
In cooperation with Bouwradius, training courses are provided for installation, maintenance, and safe operation. These take place in the training facility in Leerdam or on site.

History
Foundation
De Jong’s machine factory is founded by Boudewijn and Jan de Jong on the Morsweg in Leiden.
1919
De Jong grows
De Jong grows rapidly. A third brother (Bert de Jong) and a brother in law (Job Versteeg) join the management.
1930
Relocation to Hazerswoude
Due to the company’s growth, relocation becomes necessary and a newly built facility in Hazerswoude is occupied.
1935
Opening second location Vianen
De Jong continues to grow and a second location in Vianen is opened.
1956
Start of truck mixer production
In addition to construction hoists, concrete mixers, winches, pumps and many other products, De Jong starts the production and sale of truck mixers.
1957
Acquisition by A.Q.P. Van der Ploeg and F.J. Lurvink
Mr. Van der Ploeg and Mr. Lurvink acquire De Jong.
1970
Period of growth
De Jong experiences a period of growth and acquires several companies during this time, including Munsters (mobile cranes), Equippe (trailers) and Mandigers (attachments for forklifts).
1976 - 1984
Relocation to Leerdam
De Jong continues as an independent company with a full focus on hoists. A new facility is built in Leerdam.
1999
Start of De Jong Hoists in the Czech Republic
After earlier cooperation with suppliers in the Czech Republic, it is decided to establish De Jong’s own production facility there.
2003
New building in the Czech Republic
The rented facility in the Czech Republic has become far too small and is replaced by a newly built location.
2018
Establishment of De Jong Hoists Belgium
To serve customers in Belgium even better, De Jong Hoists Belgium is established.
